The KD Dura-Blend Salt is a medium coarse blend and is used as the main component in bagged de-icing products.  After being mined from our pond system the salt goes through a drying process to reduce the moisture content and is then screened to the correct size.  It is NOT washed and NOT treated.

With an increase in demand, our customers use this product primarily in animal feeds and drilling solutions.  It is also limited in quantity due to the steps required to process through the dryer and screen to the correct size.
